Center for Advanced Microstructures & Devices

LSU’s Center for Advanced Microstructures and Devices is hosting its Eleventh annual open house on Saturday, May 1, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CAMD’s “Day of Discovery” will offer the public a firsthand look into the heart of the high-tech research center. Scientists will be available to answer questions and supervise hands-on science demonstrations. The event is free and open to the public.

Many in the Baton Rouge community are unaware of the ground-breaking research taking place at our facility and how this research could have a direct impact on their daily lives. With “Day of Discovery” we hope to educate the public about our unique facility and spark the interest of future scientists.
