Sizzling Newest Mid-City Night Spot: THE HOT BOX Everyone in Baton Rouge has noticed the revitalization efforts of Mid-City. After three months of reconstruction, The Hot Box located at 1828 North Foster is open for business. With ample parking, a full bar and seating, and a VIP area with fireplace, The Hot Box offers a sophisticated, yet comfortable urban experience. The club mixes popular Hip Hop, Latin, and Reggae music. “We decided to keep the integrity of the club in our remodel,” says Michael Howard. The Hot Box’s décor is reminiscent of a swanky 70s nightclub. The eclectic and funky yet modern retro décor includes touches of the past with custom-designed features. The bar, VIP section, and dance floor are surrounded by plush counter bars. The newly remodeled space holds 200-250 people comfortably. The VIP area boasts a private entrance, custom-designed oversized lounge seating, and a fireplace. The dance floor can accommodate 90-100 people and is surrounded by a vintage-textured wall with mirrors. The Grand Opening, slotted for June 20th, will include Baton Rouge’s first cigar bar. Those with VIP access can be pampered while watching our cigar makers roll, cut, and light the cigars while explaining the process for its patrons with VIP access. There will also be ice luges, and drink specials throughout the night. Patrons will be astonished while witnessing the signature bottle service. Guests should be sure to try the signature PINK HAZE, an intoxicating custom blend of P.I.N.K Vodka and other top-secret ingredients with a sensual fruity kick. The minimum age to enter is 21. The dress code is sophisticated. No athletic gear is allowed. The entire VIP section may be reserved for birthday parties, bachelor and bachelorette parties, divorce parties and more whereas the entire club can be rented for private events.
